We train our dogs almost every Sunday from spring to autumn in the river Neckar punctually starting at 10.30 am. Please find the route descriptions to the training ground in Heilbronn-Klingenberg here. Alternatively there is the opportunity for the training in the Neckar at Esslingen. We are working relaxed with our dogs to support their natual instinct to rescue people from drowning. For example we are exercising the salvage of unconscious persons, people in boats or on surf boards. Also we train the bringing of life belts or ropes to the victims.
The most Newfis love these exercises and you can't get them out of water again. For us humans it is marveless to see how our Newfis are enjoying the exercises in their element.
